These are a few examples of various design work I've done over the past few years.

Cigarette Dropper
3D Drafting USITT Tech Expo 2007 Article Cigarette Dropper

I had an article published in the 2007 USITT Tech Expo for the design of this prop cigarette dropper. It was created to deliver an over-sized prop cigarette from directly overhead of an actor that was center stage in a studio space. It was necessary for the prop to consistently hit the same mark from performance to performance, while being operated from offstage, and without needing to be reloaded every night.

I designed and built this moon box to be hung behind a blue cyc to provide a realistic looking moon. It was needed to give a softer and more 3D appearance than we could have achieved with a gobo. It was mounted on a batten so that it could appear at different heights during the performance.
